JWG Email Tutorials:
Signatures in Hotmail

Step 1

Upload your sig to a website or photo album online. Go to your sig, and right click > properties. Copy the URL for your sig (make sure you get it all).

Step 2

Go to your Hotmail account: Click on Compose: Tools: and you will see at the bottom of the dropdown, Rich Text Editor OFF.

Click on that, and a warning box will come up, just click ok.

Your page should change to this:

Step 3

Go to Options > Signatures. In the message box there paste in your URL, by holding down the Ctrl key and pressing V. Your URL is now in the window, go to the beginning of your URL and type in <img src="your URL here" Look at my example. Remember to put a " at the end as well.

Click ok, and go back to Compose.

Step 4

You will see the text you've just put in, but your sig is not showing up. This is the last step, you need to go to the toolbar again, but this time you turn Rich Text Editor ON.

Your page should change and if you have done everything right, your sig should now show up, just like mine does.

I have tried to make this as easy as possible. Hopefully the screenshots will help you to understand. And remember if you don't get it right the first time, try again.
